Joy Correll trained in beadwork over thirty years ago, and now applies this skill to handmade “Sun Catchers”—so named for their ability to capture sunlight and refract rainbows nearby (see video below). There are myriad uses for these beautiful strands, including applications as lampshade or fan pull-strings, bird deterrents in household windows, holiday decorations, or everyday indoor decorations in rear view mirrors, household windows, or doorways.

These signature Sun Catchers are handcrafted from both new and antique curios, and include an array of seed beads, multi-faceted glass beads, crystals, and charms. Each strand varies in length from approximately 10” to 18” and includes a lobster clasp, which allows for easy hanging around nearly any object (see picture below).

These durable yet beautiful Sun Catchers provide the perfect accent for any space, and appear different throughout the day and night, providing an ever changing musing point.
